Information Architecture

Clear structure:
Professions, Hard Skills, Soft Skills

To create a clear and intuitive system, I structured the platform into distinct categories, ensuring seamless navigation and accessibility. The main segmentation includes Professions, Hard Skills, and Soft Skills, allowing project managers to explore relevant content efficiently.

By organizing information in this way, users can easily identify relevant career paths, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills. This structured approach enhances usability, supports decision-making, and ensures that content is both accessible and actionable.

Optimizing Navigation
with Tree Testing Insights

Evaluation via Tree Tests To ensure an intuitive understanding of the site‘s structure I tested the sitemap on-site with potential users through so-called tree-testing by giving them relevant tasks, such as "Where would you click if you wanted to join a theatre group?" Based on the test results, the sitemap has been adjusted accordingly. By focusing on content placement and user interactions, I was able to refine the information hierarchy and optimize usability.

Conclusion

Data-Driven Product Dashboard:
Balancing Usability and Aesthetics

Designing this product management dashboard was both a challenge and a valuable learning experience. The main goal was to create a clear, data-driven interface that simplifies decision-making for product managers.

One of the biggest challenges was ensuring that complex data remained accessible and easy to interpret without overwhelming the user. Through usability testing, I would analyze navigation, data clarity, task efficiency, and user engagement to refine the experience further. This project deepened my understanding of data visualization and the balance between aesthetics and functionality.
